Common farm record gaps
Most farm claims weaken in the same places, and all of them are fixable before the next season.
- Bulk tank deliveries recorded, issues not recorded
- No machine identification on fuel issues
- Contract harvesting fuel not separated
- Non-qualifying usage not distinguished
A practical minimum record set
An equipment register, a tank register, a dated dispensing log with machine and activity, and monthly reconciliation to invoices covers most of what a review would ask for.
